When Highlander is placed in reverse, available Rear Cross-Traffic Alert9 is designed to detect certain vehicles approaching from either side. If the system senses cross traffic, it is designed to warn you with side mirror indicators and a warning tone.

The Automatic High Beams28 are designed to help you see more clearly at night at speeds above 25 mph. The AHB system is designed to detect the headlights and taillights of other vehicles, then automatically toggle between high and low beams.
